We take a proactive approach by identifying, recruiting, training, and fully supporting state-level candidates, campaign staff, and courageous leaders to run for office, lead campaigns, and pass bold, progressive policies.

UpstreamTN Boot Camp
We’re excited to partner with Emerge Tennessee to offer our inaugural UpstreamTN Boot Camp Training and would like to extend a formal invitation to you and your organization’s team and volunteers to join us at the Emerge Tennessee Boot Camp May 31st - June 2nd in Nashville. This training is designed for anyone - volunteers and team members alike - to learn how to effectively lead well-resourced campaigns, alongside Emerge Tennessee candidates.
Who: Campaign and Organizational staff and volunteers (managers, directors, coordinators, etc)
When:
Friday, May 31: 12pm – 7pm CST
Saturday, June 1: 9am – 7pm CST
Sunday, June 2: 9am – 4pm CST
Where: Scarritt Bennett Center, 1027 18th Ave S, Nashville, TN 37212.
Lodging accommodations are available upon request.
Tuition: $250.00 per person. Tuition may be paid using your personal or campaign funds.
Registration Deadline: Wednesday, May 29th by 11:59pm.
During this time, participants will have the opportunity to discover effective strategies for campaign planning and strategy, messaging and media relations, digital organizing, fundraising and budgeting, field planning and direct voter contact, as well as for advocating common-sense gun safety reform, healthcare for all, reproductive freedom, and democracy and voting rights within your campaign team.
Tuition payment must be paid in full by Thursday, May 30.
